Texas A&M AgriLife –  Smart Watering Class

Cost: Free

Register for Texas A&M AgriLife’s “Watering During Restrictions” class to get smarter with your watering habits. This free class will provide a general overview on Drip Irrigation, New Water Conserving Technologies, Cycle and Soak, Lawn Care during drought, Foundation Watering, Tree Watering, Irrigation Scheduling, and Rainwater Harvesting. Participants who attend will receive a free sprinkler gauge and tote bag at the event. Don’t miss this opportunity!

Water Fest 2017

The District would like to thank all who attended Water Fest 2017. Our goal was to provide a family fun atmosphere in which to raise awareness of water conservation. We hope we exceeded your expectations, and encourage you to visit us again next year.

Welcome to Water Fest!

Sprinkler System Quick Fixes and Sprinkler Operation

Thank you to those who attended the Texas A&M AgriLife Water University hands-on class “Sprinkler System Quick Fixes and Sprinkler Operation.”  Participants learned how to make basic hands on repairs & maintenance to home automatic sprinkler systems, how the sprinkler system operates and its components as well as how to program and reprogram the sprinkler controller utilizing the best and most efficient ways to water your landscape like, the soak and cycle method and other water efficiency practices.

Thank you from all of us at Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No.1 to everyone who participated in Water Fest 2016 “Science on Tap!”  If you missed the fun we hope you can join us next year!

The District would like to thank all those who attended Water Fest on Saturday, April 2nd! To the students and teachers who prepared exhibits and came to volunteer, to the licensed irrigators who offered their experience to residents, to the Master Naturalists, Master Gardeners, and all the people with Keep Trophy Club Wild who came to share their passion for conservation and the outdoors, we offer our sincere thanks for taking your time on a Saturday to help us raise awareness of water conservation. And to our incredible, generous sponsors who donated prizes and lunches, thank you for making this event free and fun for everyone!

Kids Water Fest 2016 Coloring Contest

Thanks to all the kids who entered our coloring contest!  The winners were announced at Water Fest and the beautiful entries are on display in the lobby of the Svore Municipal Building.

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Class- Drip Irrigation DIY

Thank you to those who attended the “Drip Irrigation DIY” class and to Patrick Dickinson from TAMU’s AgriLife Water University for a fantastic presentation!  Participants learned where to use drip irrigation, how to install drip irrigation tubing from your faucet, and how to convert an existing zone to drip. Drip irrigation is the most efficient irrigation method and essential to sustainable landscapes.

If you missed the class, the instructor has generously allowed us to post his presentation materials for residents to view.
