Wastewater Rehabilitation Begins Jan. 28

Doody calls. Beginning the week of Jan. 26 and through the month of February, construction crews will be in Trophy Club to make improvements to wastewater lines and manholes in what we call Basin 13. The issues were identified last spring during the FY25 annual wastewater system analysis. 

A total of 44-point repairs will be made on the wastewater lines. A point repair generally consists of applying a sleeve or small patch to create a seal and repair a leak or crack rather than replacing the entire pipe. 

In addition, repairs will be made to 46 manholes that will reinforce the integrity of the structure. This work consists of cleaning manhole walls, recoating the interior or replacing covers.  

Most residents in this area will not be impacted by this work. If the crew needs access to your yard, a door hanger will be placed on your door 48 hours in advance. If you receive a notice, please make arrangements for outdoor pets and remove structures from the top of manholes such as flowerpots or birdbaths.
