The GFOA of the US & Canada presented the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 for its annual Operating Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2025. Award recipients had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines that determine how well the District’s budget served as a policy document, operations guide, financial plan, and communications tool.

This award reflects the commitment of the District Board of Directors and staff to achieve the highest principles of governmental budgeting. Award recipients have pioneered efforts to improve the quality of budgeting and provide an excellent example for other governments throughout North America.
