The FY26 Water Line Replacement project is moving along. A temporary water line is in use on Oakmont Dr. and crews are working their way around the loop.

Most of the work is in the right-of-way, which can be 10-15 feet from the curb in the yard. The contractor is using open trench installation to replace the water lines. Most driveway crossings and sidewalks will be bored underneath. Contractors will avoid damaging landscaping features as well. When the lines are installed, sod will be replanted and new fire hydrants will be set in place.

When there is a planned water shut down, we typically notify residents with a door hanger on the front door and an automated phone call. In emergencies, the quickest option to reach everyone is by automated phone call. In the event of an unplanned water shut off, we want to make sure you are adequately notified.
